BAPE is celebrating the 10-year anniversary of the classic shark hoodie with a commemorative collection. The hoodie became a staple item for the brand shortly after its release in 2004. Its popularity rose as countless celebrities began to wear the product on numerous occasions. NIGO is credited with the creative design, which boasts an elongated zipper that encloses the entire hood.
The 10th anniversary collection features four assorted full-zip hoodies in gold, silver, black, or white and four additional coinciding T-shirts. Each of the hoodies have special Swarovski crystal details along the shark’s teeth and eyes and ship in exclusive packaging. Select pieces will be available at ZOZOTOWN from October 11-15, while the rest of the limited edition collection will drop online October 25.
