Essentials: Jack Toledo of KR3W
As skatewear brand KR3W continues to spearhead innovative collaborations within the skateboarding

As skatewear brand KR3W continues to spearhead innovative collaborations within the skateboarding world, we peer into the essentials of KR3W’s apparel design director Jack Toledo. Toledo is very much the embodiment of the creative direction of the brand as much as his role demands that he is. Through his love of and insistence on a broad range of inspirations from music and contemporary art for the KR3W look while maintaining the quintessential skate aesthetic, these values are very much reflected in his personal Essentials, and likewise his personal style in the identity of KR3W in a somewhat symbiotic fashion. To drive home this point, Toledo’s threads are a selection of down-to-earth KR3W staples and his trusty 1970s Converse Chuck Taylor High-Tops “customized” with shoe polish. Otherwise, Toledo’s Essentials indicate a man who values the basics, not only of fashion, but in personal care, relationships and good drink.
