Nearly five years since the release of his acclaimed LP The Ecstatic, universally acclaimed artist Yasiin Bey has announced his latest musical endeavor, entitled Time Is Always Now. Set to take place this Friday, January 17 at 12:30 a.m. CAT/5:30 p.m. EST, Time Is Always Now will see Bey performing all-new material – as a part of his newly established collective A COUNTRY CALLED EARTH – live from Africa in commemoration of the birth date of the legendary Muhammad Ali. While the exact whereabouts of the performance has been kept under wraps, the location will ultimately be revealed at the end of the broadcast – which also marks the premiere episode of the Time Is Always Now campaign’s live stream events.
