Just about three months after headlines erupted with excitement over Nick Wooster‘s new role as Atrium‘s creative director, news has broken that Wooster has left the partnership. WWD confirmed the rumor via phone call, although Wooster declined to mention the reasoning behind the departure. The break-up comes in a strikingly similar – that is, surprising and nonspecific – fashion to Wooster’s past relationships with JCPenney and Bergdorf Goodman. While the word on Wooster’s next venture is still quiet, the dapper tastemaker did mention he is currently consulting for several brands. Atrium founder Sam Ben-Avraham has stated that he is “currently exploring different options and strategies for the future of Atrium.”
