This edition of Essentials sees an assortment of items from none other than Lee “Q” O-Denat of WorldStarHipHop (WSHH). Realizing the potential of the internet during its infant stages, Q sought out to utilize the powerful tool as a means to connect with people, share his thoughts, and ultimately, make money off of it – as a career path involving manual labor was out of the question. Fast forward past the days of GeoCities to present day and you will be hard-pressed to find someone who does not know of Q’s imprint WorldStarHipHop, aka the “CNN of the ghetto.” Since its inception in 2005, the site has only continued to grow, garnering well over a million visitors a day and has won a number of accolades including BET’s award for top hip-hop and urban culture website, four years in a row. Amongst Q’s Essentials we find a number of iced out jewelry pieces, 1 of 24 pairs of Air Jordan 8 Ray Allen player exclusives, a Queens New Era cap (always representing where he came from), business magazines, and his most crucial item, his MacBook Pro laptop.
