To many, this is simply another Flyknit release, while to others, this could very well be the biggest collaborative effort this year. Two brand powerhouses, Supreme and Nike have worked together in offering the Supreme x Nike Flyknit Lunar 1+. The shoe, clearly a Nike Flyknit Lunar 1+ takes on the straightforward yet subliminally simple aesthetics of Supreme — a sneaker in basic performance form without unnecessary embellishments. The shoe’s overall design can be seen in the branding and grey-scale colorway. Both brands’ logos stamp the tongue, and the former half of “Supreme” is woven into both side panels of the upper. While Nike’s Swoosh sits at the heel’s side, Supreme’s name is found at its tab, rounding this sneaker off with obvious marks of its makers. The Supreme x Nike FLyknit Lunar 1+ is featured within the HYPEBEAST Magazine Issue 5: The Process Issue, and will be available in-stores in New York, Los Angeles, London and online on October 3 before hitting Japan October 5.
