Street style icon and fashion pioneer behind Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman, Nick Wooster is pushing his influence further into the realm of fashion with his recent sign-on to retailer Atrium. Picking up the role of creative director, Wooster has signed on to join forces with current owner Sam Ben-Avraham over the partnership of Atrium’s New York-based stores, with the two stores in Brooklyn and NoHo set to be renamed as Atrium Wooster. Fulfilling his childhood dream of buying stake in a retail outlet, Wooster has noted that his hand in the company’s creative direction will take full effect come fall 2014, with an outlook that will “respect the heritage [but also] keep an eye on the future.”
