Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Racing Series

Mercedes-Benz has officially unveiled the CLA 45 AMG Racing Series, a track-ready version of the new CLA 45 AMG. To make the car ready for the track, the engineers at Mercedes-Benz have given the car several performance upgrades including a competition-spec aerodynamic kit, lightweight carbon-fiber reinforced plastic panels, and a stripped out interior. In addition to the performance upgrades a whole host of safety features have been added to get the car competition-ready. No word yet on which racing series the car might be featured in but it seems likely that the car will feature in the World Touring Car Championship.
