Today we have been introduced to a new female composer/producer out of Las Vegas. DeAira is a former collegiate basketball player who chose to set aside hoops and go after her ultimate dream, music. The instrumentalist-turned-producer is here this week to present a rework of her latest project, Love Among Other Things. The smooth and laid back compilation was inspired by DeAira’s favorite film and a classic, Love and Basketball. The 15-entry project showcases an overall soul/R&B vibe, highlighting a number of heralded samples as well as soundbites from the aforementioned movie.
