On September 8 Singapore-based sneaker customizing duo SBTG Workshops kicked off its Classroom 1 experiment, in which a select group of students got a chance to learn the “crucial basics of sneaker customization.” The workshop began with Mr. and Mrs. Sabotage demoing the fundamentals, such as de-glazing a shoe to prepare it for paint, apply paint to leather, and even how to use stencils to create logos and artwork. Afterwards, each participant got a chance to work on their own custom sneakers. The short film below was co-produced by Betaphats Studios and Straatosphere.
