After stealing the show with the Parcour at the Geneva Motor Show earlier this summer, the folks at Italdesign Giugiaro have done the same in Frankfurt, this time teaming up with Audi to create the Nanuk Quattro Concept. Once again appearing in a bold shade of candy red, the latest Italdesign concept ditches the Parcour’s Lamborghini-sourced 5.2 liter V10 for a twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter diesel V10 – a massive engine (especially for a coupe) capable of 544 horsepower, 738 lb-ft of torque, and acceleration for the 4,189-pound Audi from 0 to 62 mph in under four seconds. Furthermore, the coupe crossover features next-generation adaptive air suspension, integral steering and all-wheel drive – thus making the making the car incredibly maneuverable and stable. Like the Parcour, the Nanuk is likely a one-off design and probably won’t see the light of day as a production-line vehicle.
