Jonathan Anderson, the designer and founder of J.W. Anderson, is Spanish label Loewe‘s new creative director. The Irish-born designer has quickly risen through the ranks of fashion and has been the darling of London Fashion Week thanks to his unique gender-bending aesthetic; he started off doing strictly menswear but has also done a women’s line since 2010. As part of the deal, Loewe’s parent company LVMH will also be giving the designer’s J.W. Anderson label a major financial boost. Loewe’s first collection under Anderson’s creative direction is expected to arrive next season or the season after. Stay tuned for more from this exciting new partnership.
