We know that Calvin Harris stacking serious paper this year. But who from the hip-hop side of things is doing it big? Forbes has just released of hip-hop’s top 20 earners on Cash Kings 2013 list and it looks like Sean “Diddy” Combs has another reason to open up another bottle of Ciroc. The Bad Boy honcho crowns the list by pulling in $50 million over the past year due thanks to his Sean John clothing line, Blue Flame marketing agency, his Bad Boy record label, and his deal with Diageo’s Ciroc vodka of course. He is followed by Jay Z who cashed in $43 million with his tour, Armand de Brignac champagne, D’Ussé cognac, and Roc Nation label and management firm. In addition, he also collected $5 million from Samsung, who purchased 1 million copies of his album Magna Carta… Holy Grail. Dr. Dre, last year’s top earner, drops down to No. 3 with $40 million following his lucrative 2011 sale of Beats by Dre. See the full list of hip-hop’s top cash kings below.
