South Korean designer Tae Yong made a fun splash at New York Fashion Week recently. Beyond Closet‘s 2014 spring/summer collection is cheerfully sporty while retaining a poised sartorial elegance. Bold geometric prints were thrown into the mix with a summer palette of bright blues, yellows and reds. In particular, the updated argyle really caught our eye, along with the cute caricatures of men working out. Retro high school gym class aside, however, the label’s luxe design sensibilities were still distinctly showcased through tailored double-breasted jackets and sleek leather shoes.
