Nearly a year after Maison Martin Margiela released a collaborative line with Swedish fast-fashion retailer H&M to great success, the luxury designer label secretly announced a limited edition partnership with American icon Converse. MMM went viral for the unveiling of this joint effort by sending a blank email to select fashion editors with a ‘save the date’ notice of September 11 attached as a .GIF file.
