For the better part of 2013, wisdom designer Hans Chyi has been exploring a concept he calls “Mt. GENTLEMAN,” or “the search for a mature style guided by a sturdy yet graceful eye.” The idea also provided the starting point for his latest collection, combining influences from both the rugged outdoorsman and sophisticated urban dweller for a selection of simple, yet layered fall looks. Featuring casual designs like sweats, anoraks, soft tailoring, and knits in a variety of colors and patterns — florals, paisleys and camouflage included — the collection is made in Taiwan with an unwavering attention to fabric, construction and function.
