After taking a general look at its newest project courtesy of owner Garry Bone, here we can finally feast our eyes on Livestock‘s collaborative version of Reebok’s Classic Leather silhouette. The Vancouver-based boutique draws inspiration from the modern skate shop model, with Bone having prior experience running Board Kennel in the early 2000s. As a part of the Reebok Certified Network initiative, Livestock teamed up with Reebok to pay homage to the great Canadian city through the sneaker, with the aqua blue and yellow hints around the sneaker giving a nod to the iconic, though defunct Vancouver Grizzlies team. The upper of the shoe is primarily composed of black synthetic nubuck – a physical reference to the days of streetwear’s infancy – which sits atop a clean white sole. With black laces and a yellow eyelet garnishing this shoe, look for the Livestock x Reebok Classic Leather 30th Anniversary at Livestock and other Reebok Certified Network retailers in the coming weeks.
