Despite a little friction between Jay Z and Hudson Mohawke, it appears they have found a musical middle ground in Drake‘s third studio album Nothing Was The Same. The album started generating buzz with the catchy single “Started From The Bottom” and has only continued accumulating it with singles like the Big Sean and 2 Chainz-assisted “All Me,” and Majid Jordan-featured “Hold On We’re Going Home.” Already exploring a vast amount of sonic territory with these singles, Jay and Hudson’s respective contributions could expand the versatility of Drake’s upcoming album even further. Nothing Was The Same arrives September 17.
