VOR is Art by Lester Jones

While our culture may not lend itself to this appreciation, there’s an artistic nature about shoe design. Not unlike a painting or sculpture, behind each finished product is even a more meticulous intent, with every line, curve and shape of the shoe painstakingly planned months in advance. To underline this point, German premium shoemaker VOR recruited the help of Lester Jones – the mastermind behind I Dig Your Sole Man, which is a blog aimed at unearthing the story behind a sneaker and its wearer. Jones created a brief social experiment by setting up a pair of VOR shoes as an installation in an art gallery. As it turns out, even art aficionados are fans of VOR’s premium designs.
