Although dethroned over the weekend thanks to a stunning 2nd round TKO by Chris Weidman at UFC 162 in Las Vegas’ MGM Grand Garden Arena, longtime middleweight champion Anderson Silva is the latest athlete to see a special edition mock-up of a trainer in the capable hands of Nike. Coming in the form of Nike’s Free Trainer 3.0, the lightweight and low-profile kicks boast a Black/University Gold colorway – thus matching the Brazilian mixed martial artist’s trunks – while “SILVA” branding hits both the tongue and graphic footbed. Nike’s nod to “The Spider” is now available online for $120 USD.
