Widely regarded as one of the most iconic moments in Formula 1 racing, Ayrton Senna‘s legendary Suzuka 1989 qualifying lap was brought back to life in Honda‘s latest commercial. Through a masterful composition of thousands of speakers and light fixtures, the commercial duplicates Senna’s exact movements and recreates the entire lap without placing an actual car on the road. An eerie yet beautifully dramatic tribute to the late racer, the commercial also commemorates the reunion of Honda with McLaren, who are set to join forces again in 2015.
