The latest iteration to the celebrated Converse Chuck Taylor silhouette sees Dr. Romanelli add his own bespoke riffs to the iconic staple. While a preview surfaced last week, we got a chance to see the profile in full form recently at YoHood, Shanghai. Titled the Dr. Romanelli x Converse First String 1970s Chuck Taylor, the sneaker features vintage Japanese boro fabric on its upper with a striking plaid pattern depending on the lateral or medial side. Due to the nature the fabric, each profile is one of a kind, echoing Romanelli’s ethos in producing rare and customized attires to his loyal audience. Stay tuned for more on release dates and availability.
