Following today’s nostalgic trend of recalling video game staples of the 1980s, Fred Perry teamed up with Japanese artist ten_do_ten to deliver a series of PAC-MAN-inspired designs for Spring/Summer 2013. Playing on the artist’s minimalist style, which heavily riffs on dots and pixels to convey complex design, the shirts feature embroidered depictions of Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde, as well as the ‘Pac Dots’ that fuel the main man himself. Combining patchwork styles and pattern blocking within a red, black and yellow color palette, these colorful polo shirts lend a new canvas to classic characters. After enjoying the video accompaniment below, find the shirts on Fred Perry Japan’s web shop, available now.
