Transcending both fashion and toy making, fellow Japanese power companies Uniqlo and Medicom join forces to create a capsule collection for the clothier’s summer “UT” campaign – a line of limited edition collaborative T-shirts – that features the toy line Bearbrick. Starting with the T-shirt side of things, consumers will have their choice of nine different styles that includes various Bearbrick motifs, camouflage, polka dots, stripes, stars and much more, all in a range of colors and sizes. The deal-sealer: any customer who purchases two or more T-shirts will receive a free Bearbrick adorned with the same T-shirt graphics. Look for this collection to be available at Uniqlo’s Japanese online shop and its Japan-based brick and mortars starting June 10 in very limited quantities.
