As the E3 Conference in Los Angeles served as a ‘coming out party’ of sorts for two next-generation gaming consoles from Sony and Microsoft, it also granted EA Sports a platform to showcase its forthcoming Madden NFL 25 release. The above gameplay trailer highlights EA Sports’ Ignite engine – developed specifically for high-end sports titles – to help blur the line between real and virtual in terms of appearance and in-game intelligence. Madden fans will also be happy to hear that advances were made in linemen intelligence to recognize assignments and prevent missed blocks. Available August 27, football legend Barry Sanders will grace the Xbox 360/PS3 cover, whilst Adrian Peterson is set to appear on the Xbox One and PS4 versions.
