Lakai: Venice to Venice with Guy Mariano

Lakai has just released a ‘pretty sweet’ short featuring Guy Mariano in promotion of the legend’s newest shoe: the Guy XLK. The clip, directed by in-house filmmaker Frederico Vitetta, finds Guy making his dreams a fantastic reality via a magical boat ride from California to Italy. The Girl and Fourstar rider delivers some very fancy footwork in the archaic city, with delicately preserved columns and marble alleyways playing the backdrop to casual slappys, as well as some not-so-easy ledge maneuvers. This beautifully shot video does well to contextualize the equally refined Guy XLK, featuring Lakai’s thin, yet protective XLK cupsole technology.
