Introducing the latest 2013 summer eyewear collection from Belgian designer Kris Van Assche — the 30C and 37C D-frame sunglasses. True to the label’s core aesthetic in merging high quality materials into a minimal body of design, the sunglasses boast premium acetate construction that is matched with a black rubber finish, giving the eyewear an uncharacteristic texture that is unique in feel yet provide a more secure sensation when worn. The two models are predominately differentiated in the bridge and lens shape — the 30C incorporates a more curved bridge with more distinct D-shaped lenses, while the 37C sees a straight bridge with lenses that border on a rectangular structure. The sunglasses are further accented with an absence of rubber at the nose and bridge, revealing either a shiny burgundy or shiny black frame. Other details include engraved metal temple tips, four pronounced hinge screws and metal nose pads.
