Agi & Sam 2013 Spring/Summer Collection
Designers Agi Mdumulla and Sam Cotton, the duo behind British label Agi & Sam, are on something

Designers Agi Mdumulla and Sam Cotton, the duo behind British label Agi & Sam, are on something of a roll. Besides winning The British Fashion Council’s NewGen Men award last month and the chance to show at London Collections: Men, they’re also set to release a capsule collection with Topman — dubbed “The Owls” — tomorrow. With clothes like those for Spring/Summer 2013, it’s not hard to see why. This season’s collection continues the duo’s fascination with bold prints, sharp tailoring and tongue-in-cheek humor — traits that have been wowing the fashion industry as of late. Standout pieces like the Landscape T-Shirt and Jacquard T-Shirt take needlework into unusual territory, joined by the all-over printed Home Sweet Home shirt, a duo of great splatter-printed garments, and a pair of bird-patterned shorts in peach — garments that prove, above all, that fashion should never be taken too seriously.
