A$AP Rocky has spoken in the past about his desire to produce. Most assumed that he would be rapping over that production, but that’s not the case. While sitting down with MTV, the A$AP kingpin revealed that he will be releasing an instrumental album called Beauty and the Beast: Slowed Down Sessions (Chapter 1) for free by the end of summer. Under the alias LORD FLACKO, Rocky co-produced a handful of tracks from his debut LP, Long. Live. ASAP, including “Long Live ASAP” and “Suddenly.” His instrumental album will likely follow a similar sound, which he describes as “really druggy, ambient shit” that features “classical music and boom-bap Wu-Tang shit mixed together.”
