Will Fry prepares to release a special “Collab” jacket for this year’s spring/summer season. Consisting of a collage of various black and white ads, the jacket pokes fun at the luxury fashion market by ‘branding’ the jacket with the likes of Céline, Marc Jacobs, Dior, Balenciaga and Proenza Schouler. Breaking the hodgepodge of images is the pure black collar and cuffs along with an elastic hem and black central zipper. This jacket isn’t the first time the streetwear brand has thumbed its nose at up-market brands. Its “Expensive” collection featured a set of tees, shorts, hats and skateboard decks patterned with overlaid business cards from various brands as notorious for their prestige as they are for their prices.
