2013 Adult Swim Singles Program To Feature Captain Murphy, Madlib, and More

You can always count on a few things to drop once Summer starts coming around –  clothes, responsibilities, and most importantly, all the new music artists have been working on throughout the Winter. It’s always an exciting time for an audiophile’s ear and Cartoon Network’s late-night programming block, Adult Swim, is all set to deliver a season’s worth of hits with this years Singles Program series. The 15-week series kicked off with Killer Mike and El-P’s “36” Chain” off their Run The Jewels EP and will feature new singles from a wide scope of the musical spectrum. Some of the more notable tracks include a collaboration of aliases, as Flying Lotus’ Captain Murphy and MF Doom’s Viktor Vaughn join up on a track and a Madlib/Freddie Gibbs track. Also on the list of releases are vuts by grindcore band, Pig Destroyer, some surf-rock from Mac DeMarco, and experimental sounds from producer Dan Deacon.
