Thanks to Nike‘s partnership with the NFL – which began last season – sneakerheads have been treated to a range of officially-licensed NFL footwear over the past year. Joining the fray later this month is a brand new take on the Nike Air Trainer Max ‘91 – inspired by none other than multi-talented great Bo Jackson, for whom the shoe was specifically designed when it was introduced more than two decades ago. Adopting a predominately Wolf Grey color scheme with contrasting black and white accents throughout, the design sees the iconic Oakland Raiders logo on the heel of the left shoe while Jackson’s jersey #34 comes embroidered on that of the right. Furthermore, a crackled cement-like pattern wraps the majority of the midsole as the legendary “Bo Knows” slogan (from Nike’s early ’90s campaigns) appears on the design’s signature wrap-strap apparatus. Look for the Quickstrike “Bo Knows” edition of the Air Trainer Max ‘91 to be available from Nike Sportswear retailers like Concepts beginning this Saturday, May 25 for $110 USD.
