Givenchy 2014 Pre-Spring Collection

While 2014 may still be in the distant future, Riccardo Tisci heightens our senses with a glimpse at next year’s pre-spring menswear offerings. With Latin culture at its center, the collection — which mirrors the womenswear fall collection — toys with a myriad of eye-catching prints (think floral, camouflage and flame). While such patterns are often shown in separate attires, Tisci has merged them in distinctive color block complexion, presenting a juxtaposition of prints in sets of button-up shirts, pullover and shorts. Marking off his collection with the “Favela 74” T-shirt — Tisci’s birth year and the relish of Favela men’s confidence and street elegance — the collection again shows Tisci’s conceptual and refined tailoring.
