Italian retailer Slam Jam and Converse‘s premium First String division have crafted a new lookbook to highlight the forthcoming “Summer Journey” edition of their collaborative Jack Purcell. Shot by Marco Marzocchi with styling by Slam Jam’s own Matteo Teruzzi, the lookbook sees the new take on the quintessential summer tennis sneaker in an apropos setting featuring a beachside boardwalk and amusement park. Constructed of water-repellent navy canvas with a contrasting white sole and red toe stripe, the joint effort includes unique details such as a medial snap closure, red lining, and tongues emblazoned with the words “Summer” and “Journey.” This season’s “Summer Journey” Jack Purcell is due to hit Slam Jam and Converse First String retailers beginning this Friday, May 31.
