Recently taking the stage at Coachella, London dream-pop outfit The xx performed songs both old and new to an assembly of mesmerized fans. While Romy Madley Croft and Oliver Sim took lead on vocals and strings, a few distinctive live renditions came in courtesy of the equally talented Jamie xx, offering atmospheric interpretations to the band’s chart hits like “Shelter,” “Crystallized” and “Angels.” The trio were also joined by Solange Knowles — clocking in at 20:00 minutes – who assisted them with the cover of Aaliyah’s “Hot Like Fire.” Enjoy the performance above and if you missed them at Coachella, perhaps you might be able to catch them at another gig during their North American tour.
