The design duo behind Craig & Karl have traditionally worked more so in the realm of pop culture, which makes their recent appropriation of classical music all the more interesting. Whether it be interpretations of world famous athletes with Turkish Airlines or their own rendition of Barack Obama for New York Magazine, the Bavarian State Opera enlisted the remote New York/London duo to create several posters for the upcoming season. Seen here are pieces done for the opera series which taken on a more classical Craig & Karl look. Furthermore, a series down for their concert series provides a much broader range of colors which can be seen over at designboom.
