After kicking things off in Hong Kong, KAWS‘ large-scale “Passing Through” Companion is set to add Philadelphia to the list of American stops. Over the course of the last two and half years, the Companion has made stops in Connecticut (shown here), New York, Georgia and Texas. The showing will be part of a larger exhibition known as the Sculpture Plinth Exhibition at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts (PAFA) which opens in October. Look for the 16-foot-tall Companion to occupy Philly’s 30th Street Station.
