Drake may have started at the bottom, but he’s certainly climbed his way to the top, as evidenced by the milestones his latest projects hit this week. With the 4,700 copies sold this week, 2011’s Take Care officially surpassed the 2 million sale mark, certifying it as a double-platinum album, an achievement rarely seen by hip-hop albums nowadays.
“Started From The Bottom,” his first single off his next album, is sitting pretty on platinum as well, after passing the million sales mark this week.
Drizzy is set to drop his third studio album, Nothing Was The Same, later this year. If his latest numbers are any indication, everything should be the same for it, dollar wise.
