Though umbrellas from the corner vendor may seem convenient, they’re less so when they fall apart the day after you bought it. Cue Oliver Ruuger, who has perfected the art of umbrella craftsmanship through his use of rare materials and acute attention to detail. The London-based designer recently released an exclusive four-piece collection in conjunction with online retailer LN-CC. To launch the collection, LN-CC filmed a brief video piece that highlights the extensive care with which Ruuger handcrafts each umbrella he makes.
