After unveiling their collection for Versace Home at the International Furniture Fair in Milan, Versace now takes a behind-the-scenes look at The Haas Brothers‘ process. The Los Angeles-based design duo created 12 pieces for the revered Italian brand, with the above video giving an inside look at the superior craft that went into production. The chair is made of honeycomb brass, upholstered with premium black leather, and was made as a “futuristic throne” for Donatella Versace – hence the name of the piece: “The Donatella Chair.” Every stitch, imprint, mold and detail is filmed in dazzling clarity, no doubt thanks to Alexa Karolinski’s direction.
