A Bathing Ape 2013 Spring/Summer BAPEX Type 15

For Spring/Summer 2013, A Bathing Ape looked to Rolex once again as inspiration for its BAPEX Type 15 watch. Inspired specifically by the Rolex Milgauss — a scientific tool watch meant to withstand the effects of magnetic interference — the BAPEX Type 15 watch features a black dial with both Roman numerals and indices, the signature lightning bolt second hand capped off with the BAPE star motif, and a BAPE head at 12 o’clock. Finished with the same color accents as the Milgauss — green and orange — this watch is tasteful yet youthful and, at $688 USD, is infinitely more affordable than the real thing.
