Hip-hop immortals De La Soul have been around for 25 years, and to commemorate their special quarter-century mark, the esteemed Long Island rap crew provides their official comeback single titled “Get Away (The Spirit Of The Wu).” You may be asking yourself how the Wu fits into all of this. Well, it should be noted that the song samples the “Intro” from Wu-Tang Clan‘s 1997 double album, Wu-Tang Forever. De La Soul’s forthcoming album, meanwhile, is slated to drop late fall in which they’re titling You’re Welcome. Stay tuned for more details. Enjoy.
