Just a few weeks back, Brooklyn up-and-comer Smith released “Don Sh*t,” the first preview of his forthcoming mixtape, The Smith Project. The combination of mafioso rhymes and fresh sound aesthetics provided by Woodro Skillson, was well-received around the blogosphere and today Smith drops off of “Hell,” the next track coming off The Smith Project. Providing the notably darker beat, Kadaffi Tha God makes use of wavering synths and slow, beating drums to create an ominous atmosphere for both Smith and fellow Brooklynite Sean Price‘s bullyish lyrics. The Smith Project is due later this summer, but you can stream “Hell” below to hold you over until then.
