Kick-Ass 2 Red Band Trailer

The red band trailer for Kick-Ass 2 has just released, looking to pick up where the previous film left off. The trailer sees Aaron Johnson reprise his role as Kick-Ass, while Chloë Grace Moretz returns as Hit-Girl, with the two continuing their super-escapades. The trailer reveals that both characters come under heavy criticism in the face of a new threat: Mr. Motherf***er (as played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse). To aid though, the team is also reinforced by a crew of new vigilantes – most notably, Colonel Stars and Stripes, as played by an almost unrecognizable Jim Carrey. Chock-full of action sequences packed into two-and-a-half minutes, the trailer does well to excite its audience before the film’s June 28 release.
