One of skateboarding’s longtime figureheads, Jovontae Turner‘s tenure as the go-to guy for tricks in the ’90s has made him an icon in his field. Affiliated with the then frontrunners of skateboarding – GIRL, World Industries and FTC Skateboarding – Turner’s effortless style alongside an eye for intriguing designs via numerous deck releases quickly made him a fan favorite. Hence, it was only a matter of time till we saw the release of his eponymous clothing line. For SS13, JT&CO displays its affinity for inoffensive hue coordination and retro make-ups. A range of varsity graphic tees sit comfortably next to the pullovers, hoodies and coach jackets, while the loose-fitted pants and capsule of camp caps conjure up ’90s nostalgia.
