Jesse Frohman “KURT” Exhibition @ Opening Ceremony Tokyo
Approaching the 20th anniversary of Nirvana’s third and final studio album, In Utero, photographer

Approaching the 20th anniversary of Nirvana‘s third and final studio album, In Utero, photographer Jesse Frohman opened his appropriately titled “KURT” exhibition this past weekend at Opening Ceremony Tokyo, which was initially previewed here. Although much of Frohman’s present-day portfolio is centered around fashion and advertising, the New York native spent the early portion of his career shooting celebrities like Kurt Cobain for various publications. While the band was on its In Utero tour during the fall on 1993, Frohman met with Cobain to shoot images for a Sunday Observer cover story, although as expected, things got a little out of hand. With the exhibit doors open until March 24, check it out if you happen to be in the area.
