Lana Del Rey's Second Album to Be 'Spiritual'

Lana Del Rey has a newfound mindset ‘spiritually,’ and it’s going to be translating into her songwriting. The talented singer/songwriter recently sat down with BBC Radio 1 Newsbeat and unveiled that she has “moved on to a more spiritual place lyrically.” She also went on to say, “It’s a little more stripped down but still cinematic and dark. I’ve been working on it really slowly but I love everything I’ve done. I’ve been writing in Santa Monica and I know what the record sounds like. Musically, I’ve worked with the same three guys. Now I just have to finish it.” Lana’s been residing in the UK while finishing up her follow-up to her 2012 debut Born To Die. I guess we can expect a little more stripped-down version of her usual cinematic and dark soundscapes, stay tuned.
