While it was the Oscars that took center stage last night, Kanye West had a bone to pick with another prominent awards show. While performing “Clique” at the Hammersmith Apollo in London, the never bashful West went on a freestyle rant against the Grammys as well as Justin Timberlake and Jay-Z’s latest collaboration for “Suit & Tie.” Making notable assertions like “I got love for Hov, but I ain’t f-cking with that ‘Suit & Tie’,” he went on to proclaim ”I’ve never won a Grammy against a white person.” Despite winning 21 Grammys, West has yet to win Album of the Year or Record of the Year, picking up Gramaphones in only the rap and R&B categories.
