Jeff Koons‘ iconic Tulips, part of the artist’s Celebration series, has been put on display at the Wynn Las Vegas as part of the casino’s ongoing commitment to the arts. Cast in stainless steel and plated in a variety of vivid colors, the complex sculpture was recently acquired at auction by the casino for a staggering $33.7 million USD. The lighthearted sculpture, representing a bouquet of twisted flowers, weighs in at an impressive three tons and had to be carefully put in place as not to damage the high mirror polish.
