Recap i am OTHER: BLOHK PARTY in Hong Kong

Bridging creative realms from across the globe, Hong Kong’s debut hip-hop meets electronica fusion event, BLOHK PARTY, played host to some of the world’s most influential artists. Curated by Pharrell alongside his i am OTHER campaign, the project stood as a first of its kind within the Hong Kong arts and events scene, pairing global music sensations such as Pusha T, Busy P, and Steve Aoki with local Hong Kong performers such as Edison Chen and 24 Herbs. Timed perfectly to coincide with a rare sunny escape during Hong Kong’s cooling December breeze and a breath of fresh air from the city’s infamous bustle, BLOHK PARTY went full tempo right from Hong Kong local Eve Speciall’s opening set through to Pharrell’s showcase of old favorites like “Rockstar” with N.E.R.D. and 2013 features such as “Blurred Lines” and “Happy.” Peep highlights from the show above and keep an eye out for our recap video, coming soon.
